« My GT Review, After 24 Hours of Riding | Main | Student may have found culprits of scooter attack online »

September 16, 2005

Step right up…

On Wednesday night my loaner GT was the center of attention at a weekly gathering of fellow scooter enthusiasts here in Manhattan. There was about 15 of us and I think about 7 people took it for a spin around the block. It’s funny, but in our riding together we had never done much switching of scooters to see how our rides compare. I think it was because I have been riding an ET4 for 2 years so I really had something to compare the GT to. Most of the folks there were driving ETs or similar 150cc models.

Most folks had the same feedback I have had about it here; that it is smoother & more powerful. Everyone definitely had a lot of fun with it! I should have taken some pictures, but I suck and did not bring my camera.
