Inside the workings of PiaggioUSA

Yesterday, I went to the Piaggio offices here in NYC to pick up a Vespa GT loaner to test drive for 2 weeks. I invite you to take a look into the exciting inner workings of the company.

Hé! very nice scooter, 125 ar 200 cc ?

The GT is 200cc

I agree with your impression on the GT, mine has about 2,500 miles on it and I'm still enjoying every ride.

As for the Piaggio offices, they look really boring. I wonder how many of them ride Vespas? "Come on guys lets get some posters on the walls and dress down a bit, these are FUN products"

Enjoy the ride...........

Ah, NYC offices are all boring looking like that - it's all old infrastructure, and seem to have all been retrofitted with ugly boring office shit.

While the NYC offices of Piaggio-USA may be a bit boring, the world headquarters and manufacturing plant of Piaggio [Pontedera, Italy near Florence] is anything but boring. Imagine permanent ultra modern white marble sculptures of the Vespa 'monocote' body placed in the city square. Then it's a short stroll to the awesome Piaggio Plant and adjacent Piaggio Museum where Vespaholics can spend hours in "scooter heaven." A great gift shop operated by a knowledgeable multi-lingual staff is there to assist. Worth a special trip if you are even near Italy. See: www.museopiaggio.it/english for more details.
