London residents continue to turn toward scooters

I came across two more articles about Londoners making the switch to scooters as well as other alternative means of transportation. I have had more than a few people here in New York ask me about scoots as well now that random searches have been instituted on NYC subways and the PATH (from NJ).

UntitledFrom the first article: Londoners are taking to bikes and scooters in increasing numbers after a second wave of terror attacks, choosing to brave traffic in the capital instead of riding Underground trains and buses.

And this from the second article: People are saying, 'I've had enough of this. I don't want to go on the tube again,' " said Alex Melville, manager of Metropolis Motorcycles in central London. He said he's sold 49 Vespas and motorcycles this month, double what he'd expect for all of July.
